Nice ambience, delicious pizzas The boss and the staff are very friendly and the facility makes you want to stay here. Prices and services are in a good relationship. We only ever come by when we are passing through. Unfortunately. But it is strategically located just behind the city gate.

Food here is always special and delicious.

Great vibes. Very clean and nice setting. A relaxing atmosphere with Italian authenticity. Tomatoes tasted outstanding. A great portion for a great price. Finished with a strong espresso with ice for dessert.

Good italian food with lots of options. Kids menu with delicious dishes (my kids loved it). Great atmosphere and service.

The first restaurant that, in my experience so far, actually complied with the pandemic regulations. Good food for a small hunger. You don't need more. You also want to see the city.

The food was excellent, but unfortunately we didn't reserved a table and we had no much time to enjoy. Regarding corona measures, I didn't find the place had sufficient ventilation.

We can recommend this restaurant with a very clear conscience The homemade pasta ? was a pleasure and especially recommended for people with allergens, (gluten-free) .? The ambience is very nice and the entire crew was very attentive and polite. And the price-performance ratio was great Thank you very much for this wonderful evening

Hmmmm.. very nice food, we had diner here lovely place at a great location. Great food, we had scampi pizza and scampi salat. Wow... taste was awesome.

Our last chance to get a meal inside the city walls was fully satisfied. We were not sent away, were quickly assigned a place for 2 outside and quietly on the weir slope with a view of a tower. Courteous and extremely polite and attentive waiter (operator 3) made our last evening here perfect. Our dishes: Homemade taglatelle with chanterelles and grated truffles Pizza with egg Gorgonzola and truffle (pizza could have been bigger), accompanied by 3 wheat wheat beer (cold and tangy) All for € 39.20. It was worth it! Time for a culinary delicacy from the down-to-earth kitchen. Food came quickly and everything was on point, well seasoned and visually appealing. We would like to come back, but leave tomorrow. We therefore recommend the Michelangelo restaurant. Inside it also looked appealing with niches ... Mille grazie to the team. C&I from Berlin

Cozy restaurant and delicious food. Friendly staff and quick service. For the children a separate menu and children's napkins. Possibility to eat inside or outside. Extensive menu, also for desserts with complete ice cream coupes.

I think it's very good that you ask again how this rating comes about. First of all, I'm sorry for the two stars. It was not on purpose. Despite everything, we would have the impression that it was not warm. I follow your Facebook page and I was prepared for something else. We had ordered pizza and it was unfortunately not good. It wasn't crispy and not our taste. We wanted to have a drink but were not noticed, despite raising our hands. I compare with others and just wasn't satisfied. The reviews is one of many. Great Italian restaurant at reasonable prices. We have been to Michelangelo's so often and have always experienced great quality in food and service. People work here with pleasure - highly recommended.

1 star because the service and friendliness was hard to find. We came in and asked if there was still a place for 2. Lady inside: "No room inside here, just walk outside and ask my colleague if there is still room outside". (Excuse me? We ask you this, right? Take it or not ...). Since we had little choice anyway. Once we arrived outside at the colleague's place, we asked the same question and he looked sulkily. Then he saw another colleague walking and he blamed "us" (sir did not feel like asking such questions because he wanted to smoke a cigarette first). Eventually we got a table and our entire dinner went a bit like this, you feel as a paying customer unwanted and too much. The food was "okay" so that didn't boost the grade any further. We do not recommend this Michelangelo!

Not the best Italian. The food was ok, the atmosphere wasn't like that. Relaxed. It was pretty warm. Service was friendly but a bit rushed. I had the feeling that it is not welcomed not to order wine. Otherwise everything was fine so far.

When we come to Rothenburg, this is our regular pub. First of all, it is wonderful to sit outside in the Mediterranean ambience right next to the old city wall. The service is always fast, friendly and courteous. Even now in Corona times, the implementation of the hygiene regulations is excellent. There is a great variety of food including delicious pizza, homemade pasta, meat and fish from the grill. Highly recommended, never had a bad experience.

Pasta dishes absolutely recommendable. Homemade pasta very tasty. The prices are definitely reasonable. Service very friendly. Will definitely come back on my next visit to Rothenburg.

Great authentic Italian food. We had bruschetta and homemade pasta with porcini, chanterelles and truffle. Service is good and price is fair. Recommended!

We went there to eat pizza in the evening and were seduced by the good reviews. The pizzas were average in taste. Very soft, almost only topped with pickled vegetables. In addition, the waitresses weren't exactly friendly. The next table had to wait about 20 minutes until the order was even taken and made the joke "that you would have forgotten what you actually wanted because of the long waiting time". That wasn't even rewarded with a laugh or an apology. We would have gone in their place. On our next visit to Rothenburg we will not eat there again.

We had a table for 2 people, with a real good starter(Vitelli tonnato) we ordered a dish of tortellini and one pizza. The pizza was really bad quality for that type of restaurant. Kind of cheap. Paprika and chilly coming from bought jar. The tomato sauce very dry. The eggs overcooked and all in big mountain in center. All rest of Pizza really dry and not good taste. Shame for such restaurant that kind of pizza. The worst is we decided to eat and share dishes but agree to provide feedback. Which ended the night with a very bad taste. They didn’t accept the feedback and just made up arguments. You can see in picture the jar food (no fresh) and 2 eggs overcooked. No sorry or try to fix it. Really cero customer service. Not great feeling and no concern about customers at all. 2 points only because other dishes were ok but the real downside is the treatment and cero interest to receive feedback or to improve. In other restaurants they will try to fix it somehow. Here only argument is “other customers are not complaining“ Very disappointed and bad experience overall.

Very friendly staff. We had a margherita pizza with the most delicious mozzarella I have ever tasted in Germany and a Aioli spaghetti mit Oliven

Very tasty food and great ambience The homemade pasta is a dream. Be sure to try the recommendations. But classic pizza also tastes wonderful. The service is friendly and attentive. Tables are all disinfected beforehand and the distances are kept. There is nothing to complain about. If I were to live in Rothenburg, it would probably be my favorite place. ☺️ Highly Recommended! Super tasty, nice service and really reasonable prices - really recommendable all round. We were there for a short time with two families and everyone was very satisfied (there was really something for everyone: pizza, various pasta recipes and salads seemed fresh and there are also recipes beyond the 'normal' menu). We also liked the ambience and the service was very accommodating. Highly recommended - we will definitely be going back.

We stumbled across this restaurant wondering around the tiny streets late at night trying to find something that was open. And so glad we did! The food was absolutely delicious and the service even better. Really friendly and professional staff, who all speak fluent English. The restaurant had a lovely ambiance too.

The food isn’t that great,I ordered an Aglio olio and was bland and the pasta was a bit cooked.Could taste salt water in the pasta.Anyway the dessert took so long to come as the staff were fighting.Experience wasn’t great.

It’s touristy set in a touristy area. Some thought put into the food and seafood is fresh. I doubt one can get better so yeah.

Because of the weather, we had to eat inside. The atmosphere was welcoming. But you cannot talk too loud as everyone will hear you. We had mushroom pasta and Michelangelo pizza. The pasta was good, The taste of mushrooms and ham was very well balanced. However, the white sauce was broken. We do not recommend the pizza. It tastes similar to the frozen supermarket bought one. All in all, eatable - If you‘re really hungry. Another advantage (?) is that food comes very quick. We did not wait longer than 10 min.
